Tales of Luminaria Memorial Archive Available Online in Japanese

Bandai Namco Japan has launched an online service called the Tales of Luminaria Memorial Archive. Fans and those simply intrigued by this shutdown mobile game can explore this Archive via the Tales of channel website.

It is divided into four chapters; the first is titled “World Guidance & Characters of the Jerle Federation.” Volume two is “World Guidance & Characters of the Gildllan Empire. The third volume is “World Guidance & Characters of the Adventure Faction.” These three volumes primarily consist of character and setting-related information. Lastly, the final volume is just titled “World Guidance,” which contains a list of all of the enemy sprites, equipment, and food.

Unfortunately, logging onto this Archive requires a Bandai Namco Japanese ID. Still, English-only fans can make one if they so desire. Some shots of the Tales of Luminaria Memorial Archive are viewable via our gallery below:

Moreover, mobile wallpapers of each playable character were shared, also viewable via our gallery below:

In case you missed it, over 2,000 Tales of songs are making their way to streaming services.

“Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn” was recently trademarked in Europe.

We recently discussed the number of Tales of games that have never been localized and those that have never been ported, making most of the franchise notably inaccessible to contemporary audiences.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered will launch Westward for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 17, 2023.

Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the latest versions as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable events and improved maritime navigation.
