Tales of Luminaria Character Trailer #4 Introduces the Prideful Maxime Hasselmans
The official Twitter account for the newest upcoming mobile entry in the Tales franchise, Tales of Luminaria, has shared the title’s fourth character introduction trailer. This brief 1-minute trailer showcases Maxime Hasselmans, a prideful bow user described as “On the pride of the Hasselmans” is this young scion’s favorite phrase. He insists that Lucien is his rival, but he is the only one who thinks that.” He has great pride in his family name and household, stating them to be prestigious. Plus, he seems dedicated to combative improvement.
Still, based on the trailer, he also seems to scare easily or when under considerable pressure. That trait will undoubtedly tie into whatever character arc he ends up undergoing. Additionally, his English voice actor is Ricco Fajardo.

Tales of Luminaria will tell an original story with an action-focused battle system developed by COLOPL, Inc. Mobile games have opted to bring older characters in a reunion-type of experience in the past, but this game will feature new characters. Further, this title will be played in portrait mode, and players can freely move around the battlefield to attack enemies. This seems similar to a typical Tales console experience, and we’re looking forward to learning more about it.
