Tales of Luminaria Announces Upcoming Gameplay Updates Addressing Player Feedback

Bandai Namco has shared the first developer message from Tales of Luminaria’s staff addressing the feedback and critique the title has received. Throughout this message, the team reiterates the game’s design concept while also revealing several gameplay-related updates coming to version 1.0.6.

Further, the developer message on Bandai Namco’s official website has visuals accompanying several of these changes. Lastly, the team assures players that they will continue to listen to feedback to make their idealized vision of the game a reality. No specific date was provided for this update’s launch, other than that it is “coming very soon.”

An anime for this game is being produced by Kamikaze Douga in a distribution partnership with Funimation. Each of the 21 characters has received their own renders and their English voice actors/actresses.

An English subtitle version of the ttitle’sTokyo Game Show 2021 presentation has been made available.

Tales of Luminaria will tell an original story with an action-focused battle system developed by COLOPL, Inc. Mobile games have opted to bring older characters in a reunion-type of experience in the past, but this game will feature new characters. Further, this title will be played in portrait mode, and players can freely move around the battlefield to attack enemies.

Tales of Luminaria is now available to download on iOS and Android devices in the west.
