Tales of Destiny 1/7 Scale Leon Magnus Figure Pre-Orders Now Available

AmiAmi has opened pre-orders for the previously announced 1/7 scale figure of Leon Magnus from the Bandai Namco action JRPG Tales of Destiny. Branded by RIBOSE, this item costs roughly ¥24,980, with a release window of July 2024.

Tales of Destiny is the second game in the Tales of franchise afterTales of Phantasia, initially launching on the original PlayStation for both the West and Japan before the latter region saw a PlayStation 2 remake titled Tales of Destiny Director’s Cut.

The story follows protagonist Stahn Aileron, an adventurer who becomes the wielder of a sentient Swordian called Dymlos. This puts Stahn on a quest for the ownership of the Eye of Atamoni, a relic from the ancient Aeth’er Wars.

This is one of the most well-known entries in the series that has sadly been stuck on older hardware like so many other Tales of games.

The next Tales of video game release will be the Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn DLC expansion.

Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn is a story set one year after the ending of Tales of Arise. Alphen, Shionne, and the rest of the party meet a new character by the name of Nazamil, a misfortunate young girl who is the daughter of a Renan lord and a Dahnan slave. Players can anticipate over 20 hours of content, with new dungeons, costumes, sidequests, and boss battles.

Regarding carry-over boons, players will be rewarded various bonuses dependent on their achievement progress in the main game. But you will still be able to play Beyond the Dawn even if you haven’t yet beaten Tales of Arise, even though you’ll need the base game to even play this content in the first place. Characters will also start at predetermined levels in this expansion for balancing reasons.

Check out our extensive coverage of this upcoming DLC.

Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on November 9, 2023.
