Tales of Arise’s Gorgeous Ufotable Opening Animation Will Be Revealed Next Week
Bandai Namco has announced that the opening animation for Tales of Arise will be officially revealed on July 5. The tweet for this announcement contains a screenshot acting as a lite tease for what fans can expect from the full-blown opening early next week. Ufotable is animating the scenes for this title, so we will assuredly be greeted with breathtaking visuals, along with what will hopefully be a stellar song.
The Tales series is known for their opening animations, with Tales of Zestiria’s and Tales of Berseria’s being quite beloved when taking their recency into account. Here’s hoping that Tales of Arise’s opening equates to or even surpasses the conventions for what the series has set in this department.
Tales of Arise advances the graphics with this new “Atmospheric Shader,” which is meant to present the world as if it were a hand-drawn painting. Further, the combat has evolved, allowing for a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions. The graphics, combat system, characters, and story all work together to present a vivid and realized world that the developer hopes will immerse players.
Tales of Arise is launching worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on September 10, 2021.
