Microsoft unveiled some snazzy new controllers with softer pastel colors, dubbed the Xbox Spring Collection 2022. Microsoft’s Designed for Xbox team is working alongside PowerA, Otterbox, and 8BitDo for this charming Spring collection.
PowerA has pastel-colored wired controllers for $37.99, which are set to release next month. They have back buttons and a 3.5mm headphone jack in the bottom, as well as a headset dial and a 10-foot cable.
OtterBox has an Easy Grip Controller Shell for your favorite controllers, which goes for $39.99 and is available now. It’s a slim and ergonomic case that comes with two sets of swappable grip pads without blocking the battery slot. Given OtterBox’s reputation for tough phone cases, this shell should be handy if your controllers see a lot of wear and tear.
Finally, there’s the 8BitDo Ultimate Wired Controller, which is done in pastel pink and will be released in May for $44.99. The controller has two programmable back buttons and customizable button mapping and stick/trigger sensitivity. You can even make custom profiles that can be switched between on the fly, and a 3.5mm audio jack for your headset.
