Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival Releasing For Switch This Year
In the latest Nintendo Direct, Bandai Namco America announced that Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch this year. This is a new entry in the Taiko no Tatsujin series, featuring a story mode, an orchestra mode! With up to 76 songs, including MEGALOVANIA from Undertale, Gurenge from Demon Slayer, KAIKIKITAN from Jujutsu Kaisen, players can enjoy a wide array of songs.
Players can also enjoy an orchestral version of the Legend of Zelda theme, and also team up with up to 4 players (either local or online) in the Don-Chan Band mode. Avatar customization will also be available. A paid subscription service was also announced, promising 500 additional songs upon release. No specific release date was stated, simply 2022.
