Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival Update Adds New Ninja Party Mode & Shin Japan Heroes DLC
Bandai Namco has just released a new trailer detailing the new updates that will be coming to the Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival game. The May and June updates will be adding a new downloadable content pack, as well as a brand-new attraction to Taiko Land.
In the new Run! Ninja Dojo mode, up to 4 players can become ninjas and accept challenges from Kumo-zou. Deflect the attacks coming at you and come out on top! But be careful, as Kumo-zou will throw a variety of Ninjutsu techniques that will make it harder to deflect the attacks.
Next we have the Shin Japan Heroes Universe downloadable content. For those unaware, the Shin Japan Heroes universe is a shared universe between Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman, Shin Kamen Rider and Evangelion. This content pack contains the “Crime and Punishment – those who are unwilling to pray” song by Yoko Takahashi and 4 mini-characters to decorate Don-chan!
In Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, players can drum along to reach delightful levels of synchronicity with an extensive library of over 76 bopping beats ranging from classical to popular hit songs. Additionally, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival features two new gameplay modes. In DON-chan Band Mode, players can take part in a 4-player live concert and jam out together. In the Great Drum Toy War Mode, players will be able to face-off against each other to decide who is the ultimate drumming master! Furthermore, Rhythm Festival also supports the Taiko Music Pass, a subscription service with an ever-growing library of songs.
