Tactical RPG ‘Othercide’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Window With New Gameplay Trailer
Focus Home Interactive announced that the Lightbulb Crew-developed tactical RPG, Othercide, will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this summer.
Othercide is a tactical RPG where players will command an army of units called Daughters, who are echoes of the greatest warriors ever to live. Similarly, they will fight against creatures and bosses who are spirits of those who have committed some of the worst crimes.
During gameplay, players will move units and strategically plan to interrupt enemy attacks while setting up a chain of action in a timeline to perform a deadly combo. The game takes players to a gothic-styled world and features roguelite elements such as limited resources and permadeath. There might come a time when you have to decide to sacrifice a Daughter to make another stronger.
Othercide will be showcased at PAX East at the Focus Home Interactive booth #29017 from February 27 to March 1.
Additionally, the publisher released a nice trailer of the game to show off its gothic appeal. The trailer also gives an overview of the game’s setting, which is a grime state of the world. Also, viewers get a chance to see some of the combat and enemy features within the game.
