Yuri Cyberpunk Visual Novel ‘Synergia’ to Receive Remastered Release on PS5 and Xbox Series; Update Also Coming to Last-Gen Platforms
Top Hat Studios announced that the Radi Arts-developed yuri cyberpunk visual novel Synergia will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S on October 3, 2023.
This version of the game is being described as a remastered next-gen release that brings the game natively to new hardware. The publisher confirmed the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch releases will also receive this update. Pre-existing owners of the original will receive a full discount for the upgrade.
The update includes bringing all the artwork to native 4K with faster loading and features. Further, there’s a 56-page artbook, in-game comic reader, music listening room, and other additional features.
This also includes the Sunrise expansion that adds new story acts to the story. The Sunrise DLC will be available for free to PC players.
Synergia: Sunrise continues the narrative following the aftermath of a world-changing event. It unfolds a year after Cila and Mara experienced the Synergia incident, shedding light on their lives beyond the neon urban confines of The Empire. The plot delves into the broader repercussions that extend to the world at large.
At the heart of the story is Yu, the Master of the Art of Sacrifice and the Emperor’s trusted aide. Yu is on the brink of a significant reunion, set to confront the now-discredited Cila and Mara. Her mission is to bring resolution to lingering issues, especially concerning The Empire’s most wanted fugitive, Yoko. Yoko, a mysterious figure in the black-market trade, was responsible for the initial connection between Mara and Cila. Now, Yu aims to settle these complex matters once and for all.
