Yuri Cyberpunk Visual Novel ‘Synergia’ Launches Next-Gen Update; Adds Native 4k Artwork to Current Gen Platforms and Epilogue to All Platforms

Top Hat Studios has launched the Radi Arts-developed yuri cyberpunk visual novel Synergia on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.

The release is a bit confusing due to the Sunrise DLC launching alongside this current-gen version. So, I’ll try to make this as clear as possible. The NextGen update is available now on consoles for $19.99; this version is available on all consoles. Owners of the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions can purchase the update for $4.99. However, the update for older platforms seems to be a 56-page digital artbook, system updates, and the new epilogue chapter, Sunrise. PS5 and Xbox Series X owners can also benefit from native 4k artwork and enhanced loading and cloud features.

Now, if you own the PC version, you’ll get the NextGen update with the Sunrise DLC for free. However, the art book and Comic Compendium will be available for $11.99.

I hope that helps.

Synergia: Sunrise continues the narrative following the aftermath of a world-changing event. It unfolds a year after Cila and Mara experienced the Synergia incident, shedding light on their lives beyond the neon urban confines of The Empire. The plot delves into the broader repercussions that extend to the world at large.

At the heart of the story is Yu, the Master of the Art of Sacrifice and the Emperor’s trusted aide. Yu is on the brink of a significant reunion, set to confront the now-discredited Cila and Mara. Her mission is to bring resolution to lingering issues, especially concerning The Empire’s most wanted fugitive, Yoko. Yoko, a mysterious figure in the black-market trade, was responsible for the initial connection between Mara and Cila. Now, Yu aims to settle these complex matters once and for all.
