Sword Art Online Coming to Tales of Arise in Collaboration Pack This Week; Battle Kirito and Asuna
Bandai Namco has announced that the hit JRPG, Tales of Arise, will receive new DLC later this week, including Sword Art Online-related content. Players will be able to battle Kirito and Asuna in the arena, obtain Kirito’s weapons, earn a new Mystic Arte, and get new outfits for Law, Shionne, and Alphen.
While there has been rather severe hostile reception to this crossover already, I don’t necessarily mind it. Crossovers of any kind are neat. I also find it kind of funny in a sense because both Law and Kirito have the same English voice actor, Bryce Papenbrook. So seeing those 2 duke it out will be amusing.
The Sword Art Online Collaboration Pack is releasing on October 7, 2021.

Additionally, we wrote 5 tips beginners of the game should know before fully diving in.
Tales of Arise advances the graphics with this new “Atmospheric Shader,” which is meant to present the world as if it were a hand-drawn painting. Further, the combat has evolved, allowing for a better sense of spectacle and direct player feedback based upon their actions. Finally, the graphics, combat system, characters, and story combine to present a vivid and realized world that the developer hopes will immerse players.
Tales of Arise has launched worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
There is also a variety of bonus content available with the game’s full release, such as DLC outfits based on Tekken, Code Vein, and The Idolmaster for the girls.
UPDATE: The official Tales of Arise Twitter account has shared an image showing off the 3 costumes players can obtain from this DLC.
