Sword Art Online Platinum Collector’s Edition Up for Pre-Order; A $200 Box With 20 Volumes of SAO and More

Yen Press has announced that fans can pre-order the Sword Art Online Platinum Collector’s Edition from the Store page for $200.

The Sword Art Online Platinum Collector’s Edition is a special edition boxed set that includes 20 volumes of Sword Art Online and exclusive prints and posters of art by abec. The release also contains two collector’s edition volumes, which makes it pretty valuable to longtime fans.

The Sword Art Online Platinum Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered now, but the product has a launch day for December 22. Yes, just in time for Christmas. Additionally, the publisher did clarify that the edition will be available internationally through Diamond Book Distributors.

More information about the collector’s edition contents should be revealed soon since all we really have is a few pictures of the box. However, it is a nice way to house this series that has truly grown in popularity over the years. The light novel has not only been made into a popular anime series but has also found its way into several video game adaptations and even features length animated films.

The price may be high, but for those who have already invested so much into the series, I’m sure it’ll be something on all of our holiday lists.
