Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Shares Launch Trailer Ahead of Release Tomorrow
Bandai Namco has shared the launch trailer for their upcoming action JRPG Sword Art Online: Last Recollection ahead of its release on October 6, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The title is currently available in Japan.
The video showcases the struggles of Kirito and his allies in the Underworld, alongside brief teases of the battle scenarios and foes they’ll encounter.
The story of Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is based on the War of Underworld arc. The narrative adds some original beats as players fight to uncover the truth about the Dark Knight and take down many new enemies throughout the Dark Territory. Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is set in an alternate universe that explores what would have happened if Eugeo didn’t get a Game Over in The War of the Underworld.
Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will allow players to play through the campaign in single-player, but there are multiplayer options for up to 4 players online. A new battle system has been implemented that highlights fast action and strategic abilities.
