Sword Art Online: Last Recollection Shows Comparison Video Highlighting How Much Better Performance the PS5 Version Has Over PS4 Pro and Alicization Lycoris
Bandai Namco released a new comparison video showing off their upcoming action RPG Sword Art Online: Last Recollection coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on October 6, 2023.
The video shows Last Recollection running on PS5 and PS4 Pro alongside Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris on PS4 Pro and PS5. However, Alicization Lycoris does not have a native PS5 version, so the differences there are slight.
Regardless, you can see that the PS5 load times and frame rate are much better than the other versions of the game. Players will be able to get through sections of the game quicker with fights featuring a stable framerate.
Let us know what you think about the comparison in the comments.
The story of Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is based on the War of Underworld arc. The story adds some original beats, but players will fight to uncover the truth about the Dark Knight and take down many new enemies throughout the Dark Territory. Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is set in an alternate universe that explores what would have happened if Eugeo didn’t get a Game Over in The War of the Underworld.
Sword Art Online: Last Recollection will allow players to play through the campaign in single-player, but there are multiplayer options for up to 4 players online. A new battle system has been implemented that highlights fast action and strategic abilities.
