Sword Art Online: Integral Factor Launches Tomorrow on Steam; This is a PC Version of the Mobile Action Gacha
Bandai Namco revealed that the Asobimo-developed action JRPG Sword Art Online: Integral Factor will launch on PC via Steam on August 21, 2023. Yes, that’s tomorrow.
Sword Art Online: Integral Factor was initially a mobile exclusive for iOS and Android devices, but the publisher is bringing the experience to PC with controller and keyboard support. Players can play through the adventure, which features cross-platform multiplayer and online co-op modes. However, the gacha system hasn’t been completely detailed for the PC version, but we can assume that it’s there.
The game features various banners to pull new characters to add to your harem; I mean party. The game’s story follows the original adventure where Kirito and his friends must get through all 100 floors of Aincrad to return to reality. Each floor offers new challenges and requirements to progress, which usually tie into defeating a boss. With the game’s mobile version still going on, the state of which version the PC release will launch is still yet to be seen.
We’ll keep you updated on future Sword Art Online news.
Sword Art Online: Integral Factor is currently available on mobile devices via the iOS and Google Play stores. Japan first saw the game on November 30, 2017, while Western audiences first gained the opportunity to play it on March 27, 2018.
