Mobile RPG “Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel” Receives Battle Animation Trailer

Bandai Namco released a couple of new trailers for the newly announced mobile RPG Sword Art Online: Alicization Rising Steel, coming to iOS and Android devices.

Not much has been revealed about the game story-wise, but players will be able to explore dungeons in various 2D and 3D environments. During gameplay, players will be able to learn more about the character through story episodes which are linked to the story of the light novels from creator Reki Kawahara, but from a different perspective. Evidently, a new character will hold the key to this story.

During battles, characters will also have access to their Incarnate Skills. To give a preview of the animations, the publisher released some gameplay in a short trailer.

The game will feature Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice amongst others as they fight their way through battles straight from the source material. Currently, the publisher is asking fans to pre-register by “liking” the game’s Facebook Page. They also revealed pre-registration goals from 100k through 400k to receive in-game Diamonds, Weapons, Armor, and a special 4-star Alice.

Additionally, players can get a preview of Kirito running around and speaking with other characters.
