Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris Shares Launch Trailer for Second Major DLC ‘Blooming of Matricaria’
Bandai Namco has shared the launch trailer for the newest DLC of their action JRPG, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, Blooming of Matricaria. This second major DLC content follows the Church assault by the Round Robin of the Four Lords. To combat these treacherous foes, the protagonist, Kirito, must team up with the new character, Rogu. In addition, various new combative contexts are also showcased.
A new free update has also launched, featuring “increased level caps for playable characters, weapons, enemies, and raid quests, along with five new Series Equipment to collect, the ability to update and reserve Play Avatars, and other miscellaneous enhancements.”

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris begins with Kirito entering a mysterious new world known as the Underworld. In this place, NPCs behave more like humans. As Kirito, players will be able to experience the scenes from the anime arc where Kirito encounters Eugeo, Alice, the Administrator, and other characters.
The game will be an accurate retelling of the anime series. During the game, Kirito will find himself in the “Underworld,” a mysterious virtual world that is established during the Alicization arc from the anime. The game will feature memorable battles and an expansive world to explore as Kirito fights through this new adventure.
