Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris Launch First Paid DLC Blooming of Forget-Me-Not; $24.99 for Extra Story, Costumes, and More
Bandai Namco has launched the first Blooming of Forget-Me-Not DLC for their action RPG Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam.
This digital story expansion is the first DLC available for the game after a handful of free story content, updates, and balance patches. Blooming of Forget-Me-Not costs $24.99 and includes:
- New story: major expansion DLC 1 – Blooming of Forget-me-not
- New maps and dungeons
- New divine beasts
- New weapons and outfits
- A Dot Style Original Theme
- A set of Dot Style avatars representing Alice, Asuna, Zeliska, Eugeo, Itsuki, Kirito, Kureha, Leafa, and Lisbeth
In order to unlock the content, players will have to complete the main story of Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. Further, this is provided in the Season Pass.
The story is described as:
Kirito, Alice, Eugeo, and Medina fought for peace in the human realm, and the reign of the Administrator came to an end.
To avoid losing someone precious to him…
To become a stronger swordsman…
Kirito sets out with Eugeo in search of a new Divine Object.
Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris begins with Kirito entering a mysterious new world known as the Underworld. In this place, NPCs behave more like humans. As Kirito, players will be able to experience the scenes from the anime arc where Kirito encounters Eugeo, Alice, Administrator, and other characters.
The game will be an accurate retelling of the anime series. During the game, Kirito will find himself in the “Underworld”, a mysterious virtual world that is established during the Alicization arc from the anime. The game will feature memorable battles and an expansive world to explore as Kirito fights through this new adventure.
