Visual Novel ‘Swimmer Admiration’ Launches on Kickstarter With Playable Demo
Push has announced their newest visual novel project to be Swimmer Admiration, in development for PC and Android.
The developer has also launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project, which has almost reached its funding goal of $20,000. This is the second visual novel from the developer who primarily writes eroge light novels. The game will have art and character designs from the artist Lynus.
Swimmer Admiration is set in an Australian University where Ishihara Kasumi, a freshman Japanese student in Australia who loves swimming. She’s wanted to join this school from know that her favorite swimmer, Zoe Kaplan, is also studying there. As she makes her way to sign up for the swimming club, she passes the test but realizes soon after that “all that glitters is not gold.”
The developer has released a free demo with the campaign for players to get an early look at the characters and narrative.
The full game will feature 20 CGs with different routes and endings. Additionally, there will be an original soundtrack and at least 6 hours of gameplay. Character sprites will have different poses and variations.
