Horror-Suspense Visual Novel ‘Missing Time’ Gets PC Release Date Following Successful Crowdfunding

Fluttering Abyss announced that their horror-suspense visual novel, Missing Time, will launch on PC-via Steam and itch.io on July 30, following a  successful Kickstarter.

Additionally, the developer revealed that they have plans to release the 18+ and 5th girl patch later in 2020. Both of these were stretch goals that were surpassed during the campaign. The adult CGs mention that there is no nudity, but that they are erotic.

Missing Time revolves around a small town that happens to be full of mysteries. Players will be investing a murder, while also spending time with a few of their female friends. Players will meet Chiharu Ichihara, Emiri Onishi, Shizuyo Onishi, and Ember Honoyasei. Each girl has a different personality and place in your life. They fall into general character trope being childhood friends, overly sporty, or a shrine maiden, but they each have a distinct backstory that has shaped them to be unique.

The developer also mentions that the game has dating-sim elements as they navigate through 4 character routes with over 8 endings and even a secret ending. The game currently has 23 CGs planned for release with a story that is over 150,000 words long.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the game’s release and future announcements made by the developer.
