Suspense Visual Novel ‘Fatal Twelve’ Coming to Switch Next Month

Through their official Twitter, Prototype has announced the release date for the Switch version of Fatal Twelve. The visual novel developed by aiueo Kompany will be available worldwide on the Nintendo system on July 21, 2021. PC (Steam) and PS4 versions have already been released in English.

Fatal Twelve tells the story of a young girl called Shishimai Rinka. She was just a normal high schooler who had to work on her grandmother’s café, the Lion House. However one day she faces the dire situation of a fatal accident. All was over for her, or so she thought, but she wakes up as if nothing happened right after.

However, with a growing sense of dread and unease, she will eventually have to face the truth of this event. One day during her dreams she meets a mysterious girl. There she discovers that she’ll have to participate in a sort of deadly game called the Divine Selection in order to truly be reborn.

With this death game scenario, the suspense visual novel describes some potentially disturbing scenarios of violent nature. Fires and explosions are specifically mentioned by the publisher as a trigger warning.
