Raw Fury announced that they will publish the Playmestudio-developed adventure game The Signifier, in development for PC-via Steam for a summer 2020 launch.
The Signifier takes players through a tech-noir mystery where they assume the role of a detective with some unique tools. The vice president of the world’s largest tech company has just turned up dead and it’s up to the player to solve her murder. Using deduction along with a machine known as the Dreamwalker, players can jump into the recorded memories of the deceased and piece together the events.
During gameplay, players will use clues found throughout the world to solve puzzles and recreate crime scenes using Dreamwalker’s power. By journeying to areas in both reality and through the machine, players can see the events as they transpired and hopefully solve the case.
The publisher also released for the first gameplay trailer for the game. This gives players a chance to preview the Dreamwalker’s capabilities as well as how they’ll take on cases. Additionally, the trailer highlights some of the environments that players will be able to explore throughout the narrative.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on The Signifier as more news is shared.
