Superhero Action Game ‘UNRESTRICTED’ Changes Name to ‘UNDEFEATED: Genesis’ Ahead of 2026 Release

Publisher Chorus Worldwide has announced that the Indie-us Games-developed open-world action-adventure superhero sim, UNRESTRICTED, has changed its name to UNDEFEATED: Genesis.

This Unreal Engine 5 title is planned to launch for PC and unspecified platforms in 2026. Moreover, the game is the “followup and origin story to UNDEFEATED,” which was released in 2019. “Genesis will serve as the first title in a trilogy of Unreal Engine 5 games paying homage to superheroes while telling an expansive story.”

Players will control a character who’s your everyday college student transported to another planet after a meteor strike. After awakening to superhuman abilities, your aim is to combat the giant mutants stomping about, learn more about your circumstances, and figure out the truths shrouded regarding the civilization that once prospered in the area five centuries ago.

Alongside flying, players can look forward to obtaining genes from fallen heroes, giving abilities like “laser beams, freezing blasts, and massive shocks.”

Shintaro Kanaoya, founder and CEO of Chorus Worldwide, said the following about this announcement:

This game might not be like other Chorus titles you’ve played, but it’s part of our commitment to bring great games with original visions to the world, no matter the genre.”
