The Phantom Thieves of Heart have stolen the show yet again now at the Game Awards, this time with the help of Nintendo.
The Persona 5 protagonist, nicknamed Joker, will be the fighter in the first dlc character pack to be added to Nintendo’s massive crossover fighting game crossover ‘Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’.
Players will be able to control the phantom thief in combat as they fight for position against the game’s already large, and growing, roster of fighters. Players can expect Joker to use his stylized moves and wild card powers during a fight to give him an edge on other competitors.
Intriguingly, Joker recently starred in Atlus’ crossover title Persona Q2, which released in Japan on November 29 for the Nintendo 3DS. Persona 5 is, however, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Do I smell a Nintendo Switch port? I sure hope so.
You can watch the announcement trailer below.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out for Nintendo Switch worldwide on December 7th.
Author’s Note: HOLY HELL THIS IS INSANE! Persona 5 is a fantastic RPG and it’s utterly amazing Joker will be in Smash Bros.
First I need a switch….
