Super Robot Wars 30 is the newest title in the long-running strategy franchise that works as a crossover of multiple mecha franchises. Not counting the Original Generation games, which featured only non-licensed robots, this is the very first game in the series 30 years to be released officially in the West. But the series has had Asian English releases since 2016’s Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers.

The game features newcomers from series such as J-Decker, GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Movie III – Glorification, Mazinkaiser Infinitism, Knight’s & Magic, and SSSS.Gridman. Other series included are Gundam (original, Zeta, Char’s Counterattack, NT and Victory), GaoGaiGar Final, L-Gaim, Getter Robo Armageddon, Mazinger Z: Infinity, Magic Knight Rayearth, Gun X Sword, and Majestic Prince.

The title recently gained a second DLC pack containing the following characters:

  • Gundam Barbatos Lupus Lex – Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans
  • Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City – Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans
  • Gundam Flauros – Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans
  • Gundam Bael – Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans
  • Ultraman – ULTRAMAN
  • Seven Suit – ULTRAMAN
  • Ace Suit – ULTRAMAN
  • Alteisen Riese – Super Robot Wars OG Series
  • Rein Weissritter – Super Robot Wars OG Series
