Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Releasing for Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC This October with Special Editions

During today’s E3 Nintendo Direct, the next entry in the Super Monkey Ball franchise, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania was announced. This is the first new entry the series has been in several years, with the last title merely being an HD remaster ported to current platforms.

This game is bringing back elements from the Super Monkey Ball franchise’s past that many have been longing for well over a decade as it contains remasters of Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. This package contains over 300 levels and 12 minigames for veterans and newcomers to sink dozens of hours into.

Masao Shirosaki, the Producer/Director of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania had this to say regarding the game’s announcement:

“I’m so excited to finally share this news with AiAi fans around the world. It’s an honor to be a part of such an iconic series with 20 years of history. Super Monkey Ball’s charm and playfulness is deeply rooted in its DNA, and we’re eager for our fans to experience the joy and wonder of the newest adventure.”

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 5, 2021. The title is releasing on consoles for $39.99, and on PC via Steam for $29.99.

A digital deluxe edition will be available for pre-order for $49.99 and contains six classic character skins, three legendary console skins, 10 customizable items, and the classic soundtrack.

Lastly, there is a 20th Anniversary Edition exclusively at retail outlets that has an art book, reversible cover, collectable sleeve, and 10 cosmetic items.
