Sega released a new trailer for their monkey rolling puzzle game Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 29 and a PC-via Steam release in winter 2019.
To get players excited for the release, the publisher launched a new gameplay trailer showing the game’s updated graphics and colorful environments. Most interestingly, the motion controls from the original Banana Blitz have been removed in favor of the analog controls for better monkey rolling.
Originally released on Nintendo Wii in 2006, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will bring all the chaotic puzzle rolling gameplay to modern consoles. The game will have updated graphics and optimized controls for each platform. Additionally, there will be a brand-new mini-game called Decathalon mode where players will need to complete a set of 10 mini-games in a row along with online leaderboards. The original game has 100 single-player stages which are all available in this release along with the additional modes.
The game will launch physically in the west for all PS4, Xbox One, and Switch and will include a set of stickers featuring AiAi and friends.
