Action Shooter ‘Super Mecha Champions’ Gets Update Adding “Lori” and New Mode
NetEase released a new update for their action shooter Super Mecha Champions, available now on iOS and Android.
Announced during C3 Anime Expo in Japan, the developer announced that players will be able to play as a brand new character, Lori. Also announced were several new updates and a new mode.
Lori is the eldest daughter of a noble family who believes in freedom and glory. Along with her mech, Skylark, players will have the ability to traverse the levels using a powerful jump ability. Lori is voiced by Ishikawa Yui, who plays Mikasa from Attack on Titan.
Additionally, players can now spectate friends’ matches in the new spectator mode and players can stand out on the Billboard System with a new customizable appearance on the leader board. New emojis have also been added along with SS-Level rewards.
Gameplay in Super Mecha Champions has players take control of their own mecha and roam through an arena where they will be pitted against other players. The game offers battle royal and Team Deathmatch modes, as well as solo and local online modes, to engage in the game’s robotic brawl gameplay.
