Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Shows Updated Gameplay in New Trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury coming to Nintendo Switch on February 12.

As part of Nintendo’s celebration of 35 years of Super Mario Bros, the developer released a new trailer highlighting the updated 3D platformer. In the trailer, players get the chance to see a few of the updated mechanics as well as some of the enemies and allies they’ll meet along the way. Further, we see some of the Bowser’s Fury content, which is new to the game and brings an all new world to the adventure.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury features some updated systems when compared to the original Super Mario 3D World on Wii U. For starters, players can move a bit faster in this release, with the Cat Suit receiving more momentum. Additionally, characters can run in all directions, not just eight, and players can execute a midair roll. The game now supports local and online modes for up to four players to team up or race against each other.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. For now, check out the trailer to see some of the new gameplay below:
