PQube announced they will publish the BeXide-developed deck builder, Super Bullet Break, on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam later this year.
Super Bullet Break features over 160 “bullets” to collect, which are essentially just cute anime-style girls with unique skills and backstories. There’s a gacha system without the microtransactions where players obtain rewards through battles and open up treasure at the shops without paying anything. Super Bullet Break does feature a story where players must save the online game world from destruction. The game has been taken over by a rogue AI so it’s up to you to jump into the digital world and fight off these characters. The game is inspired by gacha games but adds a layer of strategy deckbuilding with a bunch of cute anime characters.
Players can also customize girls by choosing the traits to build a deck that can take on the strongest opponents. The publisher released a new trailer that highlights gameplay and characters along with a brief look at the deck-building systems. Also, there are seven game maps designed around classic genres from romance sims to dungeon crawlers.
