Super Bomberman R 2 Releasing on All Platforms October 2023; New Modes Announced

At today’s Nintendo Direct mini, developer and publisher Konami announced that Super Bomberman R would be getting a sequel title, after the announcement that Super Bomberman R Online would be discontinuing its service on December 1st, 2022.

Super Bomberman R 2 will feature a brand-new mode called Castle Mode, where players are divided into an Attack Team of 15 players and a Castle Team of a single player. A 64-player Battle Royale mode, and a revamped story with tons of modes. The game is planned for release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on October 2023.
