Manga ‘Sundome!! Milky Way’ to Be Published in the West Later This Year

Seven Seas Entertainment announced they will publish Sundome!! Milky Way from Kazuki Funatsu in August 2021.

Sundome!! Milky Way is a “sexy and out-of-this-world” alien comedy from the creator of Yakai Girls. The story follows Sakura Yoshitake, a hard worker at his corporate job and spends very little time on himself. One night, while driving home, he spots a UFO, which causes him to crash his car. An alien approaches his accident, and that’s when he passes out.

When he finally wakes up, he’s in his apartment and sees a half-naked woman sleeping next to him. It turns out that this person who saved him was also the alien that caused him to almost die in the first place. Evidently, she’s come to Earth to “seduce a human man for the purpose of having a baby.” Yea that didn’t take long.

However, whenever he touches her, she gets embarrassed and transforms into her alien form. Now, Yoshitake has an alien girl in his apartment who wants to be with him, but the circumstances make it impossible.

Seven Seas will publish the manga series Sundome!! Milky Way for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in single volume editions. Volume 1 will be released in August 2021 for $14.99 USA.
