Sundered Reveals Xbox One and Switch Release Date Along With Local Co-op Update
Thunder Lotus announced that their Metroidvania action title Sundered: Eldritch Edition will launch on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on December 21 for $19.99.
Sundered: Eldritch Edition will act as the definitive version of the game that released on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2017. Players who currently own the game will receive a free update on the same day.
Additionally, the developer released a new trailer that shows just how chaotic this title can be as it shows off its hand-drawn character animation and enemies along with the new local co-op mode. In local co-op, mode players will be able to run through the procedurally generated dungeons as they fight off hordes of creatures. It’s not mentioned if co-op will include a new story or specific new missions.
Sundered: Eldritch Edition tell the story of Eshe as she finds herself in a strange world and battles with the choice of succumbing to power and becoming corrupt or fighting back against it at a lower cost to her sanity. The game features multiple bosses and procedurally generated levels.

Author’s take: I’ve been in love with Sundered since the first time I got hands on it. I enjoyed the way that the developers created a world that is ever changing and provided some of the more difficult battles in a game that I have encountered.
