Summer Game Fest Reveals June Date & IMAX Showings With The Game Awards

Geoff Keighley has announced that the highly anticipated Summer Game Fest Live for 2022 will be occurring on June 9, 2022, at 11 AM PDT/ 2 PM EDT from Los Angeles. As expected from the event, fans can look forward to several world premieres, trailers, updates from prominent publishers, developers, and more.

Then, following Summer Game Fest will be Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, comprising more creative and diverse games to show to a collectively larger audience. Indies will be a notable highlight, too, with last year’s event having showcased hits like Death’s Door and Axiom Verge 2. This will also be the show’s 10-year anniversary, so there will assuredly be some bombshells dropped this time around as well.

Summer Game Fest and Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition will be live-streamed on several platforms such as Youtube, Twitch, and Twitter.

Geoff Keighley also confirmed that Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards occurring in the latter half of 2022 will be displayed across select IMAX theaters across the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Gamers will now be losing their minds in theaters—what a timeline.
