Indie Adventure ‘Sumire’ Shows How Players Can Spend Their One In-Game Day Alive

GameTomo released new gameplay for Sumire, in development for Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam; no release date has been provided.

The gameplay highlights the game’s “One Day, One Life” system where players will try to complete the game’s mission before the end of the day. During that time, however, there will be numerous missions and NPCs who will offer ways of spending some of your precious time. The video also highlights some of the different locations that players can visit.

Gameplay features narrative quest-driven mechanics where players make their way through the world and interact with various creatures and objects. Players can explore through a variety of environments to uncover collectibles, bonus items, tests of skill, and other challenges, some of which are hidden, some not.

Quests are both big and small and given to the player by forest creatures, each with their own personality. Players can choose whether to take or refuse the quests, but this should be a reminder that as the day progresses, some quests won’t be there when she returns.  Throughout the day, the scenery will change depending on the time.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Sumire.
