Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Details Story & Gameplay in New Developer Video

Warner Bros. Games has begun a new video series titled Suicide Squad Insider, in which the upcoming multiplayer story-driven adventure by Rocksteady Studios, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, is detailed in several fashions.

Game director Axel Rydby and other staff members highlight the core facets of this experience, notably the storytelling and character depth to expand the previously established Arkhamverse. Further, the title’s setting, Metropolis, emphasizes verticality, which, alongside the highly powerful traversal elements, puts the studio outside of its comfort zone. Metropolis will have its fair share of references to DC lore, too.

The video then showcases various gameplay contexts with exploration and combat. An RPG system is implemented with upgrades and unique talents per character as well.

In Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players will control Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark in some assuredly chaotic antics. There are countless firearms to utilize, abilities to earn, and environments to explore. Further, this entry occurs five years after the events of Arkham Knight, painting a bleak future for this particular DC timeline.
