Streets of Rage 4 Introduces Floyd Iraia and Details 2-Player Online and 4-Player Local Multiplayer Modes in Trailer

Dotemu revealed that Floyd Iraia will be the last character headed to their co-developed Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games’ upcoming brawler Streets of Rage 4, before launch.

Floyd Iraia is equipped with cybernetic arms and dishes out hard-hitting damage to all enemies. However, his movement and health recovery are slower than others on the team. Still, he boasts the longest reach among the other characters and has the highest strength too. He also utilizes electricity in his attacks, in case he wasn’t already badass enough.

The trailer highlights his moves along with giving players a preview of how he handles a crowd during stages.

Additionally, the developer announced that their game will support 2-player online and four-player local co-op at the game’s launch.

Streets of Rage 4 continues the Sega action brawler series as players choose between playable characters Axel and Blaze as they walk the streets and kick ass. The character models and visuals were headed by the team who put out 2017’s Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap remake as they bring their unique retro style shading to a new series.

Streets of Rage 4 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
