Street Fighter V Receiving Substantial Update This Month; Balance Changes, Visual Filters & Cap-Jams Remixes

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter V will be receiving a significant update on March 29, 2022, adding a plethora of cosmetic and gameplay-altering content.

Firstly, the roster’s gameplay balance will be redone, inherently changing the current meta for matchups. In addition, two new visual filters have also been added, though only useable in offline mode; Cel Shading and Pixel. New tracksuit color variations have been provided too, further enhancing the varying cosmetic flair. Lastly, numerous Cap-Jams remixes of several songs will be available to listen to in-game.

Despite this title being at the tail-end of its life-cycle, it’s neat to see it still receive support, and to such a remarkable degree. Of course, it remains to be seen how players will respond to these balance changes, but the soundtrack and visual additions are neat touches, regardless.
