Street Fighter: Duel Opens Pre-Registration for Western Release
Crunchyroll Games announced that pre-registration is open for the western release of Street Fighter: Duel on iOS and Android. Users in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and select European countries, including the United Kingdom can pre-register ahead of the game’s launch to earn a few in-game items for its February 2023 release.
“Street Fighter has been an iconic game for generations, and we know anime fans love to go on exciting adventures with beloved characters,” said Terry Li, General Manager of Crunchyroll Games and Senior Vice President of Emerging Business, Crunchyroll. “We’re excited to collaborate with Capcom to bring Street Fighter: Duel and its incredible roster of iconic fighters to anime and gaming fans alike.”
Street Fighter: Duel features the popular group of fighters and adapts them for a mobile experience. Players are tasked with moving from locations to obtain new characters and level them up through gameplay. When they create their own team, they can fight against enemy characters and take down Seth and the Shadaloo’s army of mech clones through the story mode.
Street Fighter: Duel features 40 characters from the series. The gameplay is similar to a real-time RPG where players can strategically fight opponents, with auto-battle options, utilizing a card-based system. There are online modes where players can duel against others.
