Streaming Arrow Records Teases Wave 2 Announcements of Physical Falcom Soundtracks for Next Week

Streaming Arrow Records, a company known for releasing older video game soundtracks in the modern-day via high-quality releases on platforms like vinyl, has announced that they have news for the second wave of physical Nihon Falcom soundtrack releases. These thrilling announcements will be delivered on the Digital Emelas Discord server on August 10, 2021, at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST.

For those not familiar with Streaming Arrow Records and their efforts regarding Nihon Falcom, they have released official vinyl of the Ys I and Ys II soundtracks to overwhelmingly positive reception. With this recent news, they assuredly have the potential to swiftly becoming known for Falcom soundtracks in the west.

Their tweet teasing the upcoming Falcom soundtrack efforts they have been working on is quite cryptic and vague. Still, since they remark it as a “beginning… as [they] journey… beyond Ys“, I think it’s safe to expect other Falcom IPs receiving physical soundtrack releases from them.

Additionally, for further clarification, the reasoning behind this company’s collaboration with Digital Emelas is because not only is the latter a source of news and community for the Ys series, but they have also teamed up with numerous official publishers in the past like NIS America, as well as announcing related merchandise.

So, in a sense, while Digital Emelas is technically not official in the strictest of terms, their history with official partners to promote the franchise’s prominence and relevance in the west makes them a sensible partner of this collaborative venture.

If you desire to witness the Streaming Arrow Records Falcom soundtrack-related news live, you can join the Digital Emelas Discord linked in the announcement and simply await August 10.
