Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer BlueTwelve Studio announced that their adventure game Stray will be released for Switch 2 on May 28, 2026, as a free upgrade from the original Switch release.
This version will boast enhanced visuals, 4K resolution, mouse controls, and improved frame rates.
During the title, players control a cat who meets a drone named B-12. The drone interacts with the world, and they work together to explore it further. Their teamwork is needed not only to traverse through the roofs and alleys but also to acquire items and interact with humans.
Players will find positive interactions with some of the world’s inhabitants, but that’s not always the case. The goal is to be reunited with family, but there’s a lot in the way of this adventure. Luckily, B-12 has some creative capabilities.
Stray is also available on Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
