Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Sells Over 1 Million Copies Worldwide
This afternoon in Japan, the news website Gamer announced that Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. This number is the sum of both Japanese and Western copies, as well as all PC and Nintendo Switch releases.
The newest installment in Marvelous’ Story of Seasons series hit Japan’s store shelves in February of this year on Nintendo Switch. XSEED then published the title globally in March of this year. A Steam version was released worldwide on September 16, 2021, with the latest patches from the Nintendo Switch release. Also, it featured all paid downloadable content in the Expansion Pass for an extra $20.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is the newest entry in the farming simulation series. During gameplay, players will learn the ins and outs of farm life as they take on odd jobs and gain new skills to produce healthy crops and livestock, which can be turned into profit.
Throughout the game, players will also meet townspeople who are possible love interests in the adventure. It’s also possible to start a family with this person and have a baby and ride across the environment on their animals.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive is currently available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
