Marvelous Games announced that the farming sim adventure Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will launch on Nintendo Switch on July 10 in Europe. It’s assumed the XSEED will announce the North America release date soon, which should be close to the EU region’s launch. The publisher also revealed that the game will launch physically and digitally.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is a remake of the 2003 Game Boy Advance title of the same name. The game is being labeled as a complete remake of the original, which will include everything fans loved about that release as well as some new quality-of-life features. During gameplay, players will grow crops, take care of their animals, and build relationships with the villagers.

Additionally, the publisher released a gameplay trailer showing the updated systems. The game retains much of its retro 3D appeal, along with character illustrations for characters during dialog. Additionally, the trailer gives players a look at the relationships, farming, and various places you can go to. The trailer also shows that players will be able to participate in a same-sex marriage, which is a feature that has been requested by fans for quite some time.
