Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town Now Available on PS4 and Xbox One; Free Cow Costume DLC, Hanako Cow Plush

Publisher XSEED Games has announced that Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside its PC and Nintendo Switch releases.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is a remake of the 2003 Game Boy Advance title of the same name. The game is labeled as a complete remake of the original, which includes everything fans loved about that release and some new quality-of-life features.

During gameplay, players will grow crops, take care of their animals, and build relationships with the villagers. The game retains much of its retro 3D appeal, along with character illustrations for characters during dialog. In this entry, players will be able to participate in a same-sex marriage, which is a feature that has been requested by fans for quite some time.

Purchasing the physical title will grant purchasers a Strawberry Hanako plush while supplies last. Additionally, the Strawberry Cow Costume is free DLC for all players. The Sheep, Dog, Cow, and Chick costumes are $1.99 each on both platforms.

With this title now available on several platforms, prospects for the franchise growing are brighter than ever before.

UPDATE: XSEED Games has announced that the physical Xbox One version of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town does not contain a physical manual due to a printing error. Those who desire a manual can contact XSEED Games via email to get the item shipped at no added expense.
