Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Introduces Marriage Candidates

The official Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games Twitter accounts have begun introducing the marriage candidates for their upcoming farming simulation title, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

The first candidate, Nami, was revealed as an introverted, coolheaded traveler who tends to keep to herself. She resides at the Lei-Over Inn and is well-liked by the valley’s residents. The second and especially popular candidate, Cecilia, is passionate about raising crops and flowers. She’s also known for being significantly sweet and kind.

The third marriage candidate, Lumina, is a pianist who has lived in the Forgotten Valley since childhood. She’s usually prim and proper, but her confidence is emphasized when conversing with those she considers trustworthy. Next up, the fourth marriage candidate, Gordy, is a quiet artist constantly lost in thought about how to create his next masterpiece. He impressively uses his bare hands to sculpt metal sheets.

The fifth marriage candidate, Matthew, is Vesta’s sullen brother, and may seem stand-offish and cynical at times, but that might just be because he’s actually shy. The sixth marriage candidate, Molly, is a a lovely and lively lady who works a part-time job at the Bluebird Café, and always keeps a positive outlook on life.

UPDATE 1/1/2023: The seventh marriage candidate, Rock, was introduced. He’s described as a carefree young man who always wants to be the life of the party.

He’s Vesta’s sullen brother, and may seem stand-offish and cynical at times, but that might just be because he’s actually shy. In Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, players put down their roots on their new farm in the peaceful town of Forgotten Valley and revisit the iconic community with updated systems, character designs, and visuals that revitalize Forgotten Valley while maintaining the charm that made the original a classic.

With the option to play as a male, female, or non-binary protagonist, all eligible marriage candidates are available for romance. Players can be who they truly want to be. So whether this is your first Story of Seasons adventure or you’re returning to Forgotten Valley, a “wonderful life” awaits you.

Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will be coming to Japan on January 26, 2023, and in the Summer of 2023 in the West via XSEED and Marvelous Europe for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
