Story Adventure ‘Season: A Letter to the Future’ Reveals Story Trailer, New Characters & Screenshots

Developer Scavengers Studio has shared the story trailer for their upcoming story-driven adventure Season: A Letter to the Future. Several of the game’s characters and gorgeous environments are showcased throughout this video.

Kochi is a youth who gives the protagonist a bicycle tour of a valley the day prior to its flooding. Maytora is an artist and outsider, documenting the valley’s story via her sculptures. However, the main character is the only one who sees her final work. Lastly, Easel is Tieng Valley’s abandoned final monk. He waits for the season’s change on his lonesome, not having any belief until the protagonist appears.

Margherita Siconnino, Head Producer, and Kevin Sullivan, Creative Director, shared the following comment regarding this forthcoming release:

“This project would not exist without the series of miraculous people who compose our team, who lifted us up and poured their absolute souls into the game. We’re deeply grateful to them and so excited for players to encounter stories and memories from the warmly fading world of Season. Now it’s time to rest, time to call home.”

Season: A Letter to the Future has players quest around an open world that provides an unknown yet familiar setting. Players are then asked to immerse themselves in the world’s various cultures as they live out their final moments. During gameplay, players can document, photograph, and record life as they discover it. However, time is essential, so each action is one step closer to the end.

The PS5 version will feature adaptive trigger support along with haptic feedback. Further, it will utilize tempest 3D audio tech and fast loading.
