Sci-Fi Visual Novel ‘Stella of the End’ by Visual Arts/Key Coming West Next Week
Visual Arts/Key has announced the release date for the western release of Stella of the End. The kinetic novel will be available on PC (Steam) on September 25, 2023 at 10p.m. PT. While the game was released in Japan on August 25, 2022, this new edition will be the first official English edition for Stella of the End and it’ll also include Simplified Chinese and Japanese as language options.
Stella of the End tells the story of a wandering courier called Jude Gray. In a world where mankind is on the brink of extinction, his delivery job is essential to help the people strive amidst the threat of the giant machines that roam the world. He’ll do whatever he needs to survive.
In the game, Jude gets a special request to deliver an android called Philia to her destination. With an innocent personality, the robot girl dreams of becoming human but she hardly knows how the world works. Despite being a machine, Philia is unaffected by the Singularity Machines that usually take control of these individuals if they get closer to them.
As the two travel through the wilderness, Philia really believes her dreams will come true but Jude isn’t so optimistic. Their journey will likely either find hope for mankind or drive home how utterly hopeless this bleak future is.
