Steins;Gate Okabe & Kurisu POP UP PARADE Figures Announced

GoodSmile has announced that POP UP PARADE figures of Rintaro Okabe and Kurisu Makise, the protagonist and primary heroine of the Science Adventure visual novel Steins;Gate, are in development.

So far, a mostly complete-looking Okabe has been presented, while the Kurisu figure is still in its prototype phase. Unfortunately, no further information, such as pricing or release timing, was shared, but we’ll update this article when that news does arrive.

Steins;Gate is the second entry in the Science Adventure franchise, occurring a year after the true end of Chaos;Head Noah. This is undeniably the most well-known entry, perhaps even astonishingly so. In fact, most fans are probably unaware that Steins;Gate is even part of a series in the first place.

Anonymous;Code will launch westward for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 8, 2023.

In 2037, the protagonist Pollon Takaoka and his best friend Cross Yumikawa work as hackers for Nakano Symphonies following the “Sad Morning” disaster from 2036. However, during one such seemingly ordinary day, Pollon encounters a girl named Momo, who is on the run from the authorities for unknown reasons.

After failing in his task to protect her, he utilizes a new app he receives, which allows him to Save and Load in real life, akin to a video game. With his save data viewable via the game’s UI, Pollon ends up interacting with the player moving forward as they both attempt to uncover the mysteries of this program and several other events.
