Steins;Gate Reveals New Artwork of Makise Kurisu Representing the Seasons

Developer MAGES previously announced a new Steins;Gate merchandise lottery featuring the primary heroine Makise Kurisu. Now, further details have been confirmed to be announced on August 16, and the lineup is planned to release in mid-August-2023.

The exact merchandise in the lottery has yet to be stated, but it’ll likely comprise acrylic stands, badges, tapestries, and such. What is most noteworthy, though, is how Kurisu is depicted in brand new illustrations, in outfits inspired by the four seasons. Further, they’re stated to be designed by Mayuri Shiina, a major character in-universe who designs cosplay outfits.

MAGES has also revealed the four new outfits for Kurisu representing the four seasons.

In case you missed the news, July 28 was officially marked as Steins;Gate Day by the Japan Anniversary Association.

A new wedding dress figure of Kurisu was also announced and revealed.

The next Science Adventure entry, ANONYMOUS;CODE, will launch westward for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 8, 2023.

In 2037, the protagonist Pollon Takaoka and his best friend Cross Yumikawa work as hackers for Nakano Symphonies following the “Sad Morning” disaster from 2036. However, during one such seemingly ordinary day, Pollon encounters a girl named Momo, who is on the run from the authorities for unknown reasons.

Check out our interview with the Localization Producer.

After failing in his task to protect her, he utilizes a new app he receives, which allows him to Save and Load in real life, akin to a video game. With his save data viewable via the game’s UI, Pollon ends up interacting with the player moving forward as they both attempt to uncover the mysteries of this program and several other events.
